How the Waismann Methodsm Works
Opiate dependent patients get very sick if they don’t get their narcotic medication day after day. This is because storage areas in the brain, called receptors, are very large in these patients. The storage areas have to be kept full or withdrawal starts.
The withdrawal syndrome can last 3 to 4 weeks. The Waismann Methodsm induces and speeds up the withdrawal in a matter of hours, pushing all the opiates out of the brain with a blocking agent called an antagonist.
With the Waismann Methodsm, patients are able to get through a withdrawal successfully while sedated, without unnecessary suffering. |
